-med dark red violet
-rather restrained somber dark fruited
-med acidity, med weight moderately concentrated earthy juicy grapey cassis plum dark fruits licorice, fine but robust chalky med/med+ tannins
-serious dark and a bit rustic, good quality but struggling to find Chambolle in the glass, needs a few years -

July 19, 2020 - First of 6. Still very early. Tasted a number of same wine from 2009 and 2010 and they are first now in opening window.
Fruit is good, tanins are good and balance is good. Not to hot as many 2015 are.1 person found this helpful Comment -

Mouth - mouthcoating explosion of plums, dark cherries and prunes though in no way surripe. In fact retains a vibrant freshness with lovely acidity and fine elegant tannins. I keep wanting to return for another sip.
Even at this young stage this wine is humming. Tasting excellent the following day as well. Decant or hold.
