December 22, 2023 - Great example of this wine better with a little more age. Good depth stone fruit, apricot emphasis with light straw as well. Lovely golden yellow color
March 17, 2023 - Lunch at Wa-I. Tasted blind. Drank in Gabriel Standart.
Appearance is clear, medium intensity, yellow colour. Legs.
Nose is clean, pronounced intensity, with aromas of ginger, elderflower, lemongrass, mangoes, ripe peaches, exotic flowers. Developed.
On the palate, dry, medium acidity, high alcohol (14.9%), full body. Medium+ to pronounced flavour intensity, with flavours of ripe mangoes, ripe honeyed peaches, gingery spices, lemongrass, well integrated oak. Bit of floral bitters to the long finish.
Very good quality. Exotic and unique. Time to drink up already. Oak is nicely integrated and acidity sensation sinking and it won't be pretty once the fruit declines.

June 30, 2022 - Rhône or Nôwhere 2022 (Malcom, Nebraska): Unbelievable floral...like an entire bouquet of flowers. The palate is remarkably rich as well. Long finish. Opulent.
January 27, 2022 - Condrieu vom feinsten! Die Farbe ein schönes leichtes Gold. Das ist ein Wein, an dem will man einfach ewigs schnuppern! Das ist wunderschön und spannend: Sehr intensiv, zu beginn Steinobst, leicht tropisch, dann wechselt es zu geröstetem Popcorn, etwas Rahmkaramell-Täfeli mit Fleur de sel, weiter eine leichte Würze, etwas Butter, und zum Schluss wieder mehr Frucht mit Bananen und Kokosnuss. Am Gaumen etwas weniger faszinierend, vorallem sehr füllend, rund, cremig und lang, aber ohne Säure
