April 5, 2021 - Drank well when first opened with a nice balance but after 2 hrs had developed a unpleasant acidity. Pumped down over night and the acidity had blown off and while not sophisticated was nice. Hard to tell if this is over the peak or in a dumb period.

September 11, 2019 - Pepper and spice on the nose. Red fruit and high acidity. Solid but a bit under whelming

November 5, 2018 - Ok. Second bottle. Upon opening, it had at least three layers with a long finish. Really amazing. After 30 minutes it calmed down. Blended well. Had with roast beef. Held up well. Good sipping 2 hours later. I really liked this tonight.

October 13, 2018 - Tasting pour at a wine store. Nicely done, Syrah flavors dominate, good depth, solid, enjoyed.

September 30, 2018 - Opened at cellar temperature and poured immediately for the first glass. Second glass about an hour later. Third glass 24 hours later.

Appearance - deep ruby color, minimal rimming. Tears are indicating high viscosity.

Nose - big black and red fruit with subtle notes of earth, floral notes.
Palate - smooth, rich, and opulent up front with big notes of jam, brambleberry pie, subtle note of underbrush or maybe sage. A firm but refined tannin backbone and subtle acidity extend the finish. This wine is absolutely ready to drink now but will also do well over the next several years at minimum.

Finish has slightly more tannin than acid, and is somewhat woody with hints of brush and oak mixed with various fruit notes from the main body.

Second day tasted slightly thinner on the palate and was more focused on secondary flavors. Held up well but would still recommend drinking first day.

September 29, 2018 - Loved this in the tasting room in Healdsburg, and loved it the last two nights. Drank alongside a Chateau Maris "La Touge" syrah-grenache blend (80/20, I believe), I liked both but the Limerick Lane was far more complex, both broader and deeper in every way. Very dark fruits, the slightest amount of smoke, perhaps from the oak, decent finish.
