July 12, 2023 - Great fruit and very balanced. Tannins very forward but not overwhelming. Became more complex a few hours after opening. Suggest decanting and screening had a lot of sediment.

Was my last bottle wish I had more. This might have become my new favorite Spanish wine.

June 3, 2023 - Generously shared by George in the campo. Admittedly I have just started to dive deep into Tempranillo. However, this was definitely one of my favorites. Not a crowd pleasing early drinker, this was very cerebral, complex and rocked a good 60 second+ finish. Darker and more brooding that a Flor de Pingus or some of Vega Sicilia's second/third labels. Delicious and fine.

April 10, 2023 - Same as previous note from 2020. Still drinking very nicely.

March 27, 2022 - dark red - fragrant nose of currants and oak - smooth mouth of mature red fruit, with very good acid-tannin balance - long 20-30 second finish - an excellent Ribera that is just beginning to show its full potential, but still has many more years to go
