December 24, 2023 - Initial nose was earthy, decant 2 hours fruit forward this wine. This one is drinking well but can still continue to age few more years.

December 8, 2023 - Really nice. Super fragrant, red fruited, floral, blood orange peel, earthy, subtle cedar. A little bretty but it's not offensive. Pretty linear on the palate. Lots of fresh acidity from the attack through the finish. Lip smacking wine. In a great spot but definitely has some life left.

September 15, 2022 - Floral and savory on the nose with a hint of brett that blew off quickly. Mouth: Red fruit (cherry) transitioning smoothly into a complex, herbal, savory, lower noted core. Finishes long with a good lick of acidity. Good intensity throughout. Excellent.

July 9, 2022 - Opaque ruby. Nose of savory earth and violets cut with pine, iodine, and raspberry. Layers of funky raspberry and plummy elements intermixed with bramble, iron, and feathered soil. Bright acidity and firm but smoothed tannin. Long finish of anchored red berry, earth, and brier. This will continue to evolve.

December 11, 2020 - still getting better, though still needs a bit of a decant; deep and pure dark red cherry, a handful of spice notes, each singing in tune one after the other as the wine evolves in the glass. Big but not heavy; still young at heart. One of my fave pinots this past year. Really worked with braised duck with wild mushrooms
