December 25, 2022 - Pale yellow;subdued nose of Meyer lemons, cardamom; medium body, tangerine/lime flavors and long smooth finish of brioche. Overall impression is of a mellow sauvignon blanc but holding up very well for it's age.
August 13, 2016 - Slightly sweet. Rich and layered. Still drinking. Really nice aged SB. You should probably drink soon though.
August 8, 2010 - Still one of my favoraite ca sauv blancs. very fresh nose of citrus flavors, great some cantelope and lychee notes. Crisp and clean on the finnish.
September 3, 2009 - fantastic and very very special wine. flavors amazing, slightly tight at open, but truly was something other wordly.
August 31, 2009 - Aureole with Peter Michael, CC, DP, Caymus, Sloan, Colgin and more (Aureole, New York, NY): Lovely wine. Pale yellow and slightly cloudy. Nice acidity, but less than those that I've had from other producers in 2008. Light tropical flavors, citrus and a tiny, tiny bit of pleasant sweetness on the finish, which is short. I thoroughly enjoyed this.
August 29, 2009 - Pale yellow; huge nose of ripe banana and canteloupe; flavors to match the bouquet introduction, finish of lime juice keeps it from being cloying, lime grows stronger with time in glass, long finish. Very attractive medium age SB would be great with fruit based foods or mild curries

July 19, 2009 - pale yellow; melons on the nose, "smooth, velvety" rather than crisp promised by bouquet; rich peach, yellow melon flavors almost hides acidity- could pass for "no oak" cool climate chardonnay, fairly heavy body; smooth finish continues what nose/tastes began, no jagged edges, mellow
October 18, 2008 - A stellar Sauvignon Blanc. Crisp, balanced. Loads of pink grapefruit and marmalade, touched with fresh baled hay. A wonderful follower to the 1989 Scavino Cannubi I had with dinner.
September 13, 2008 - Wonderful bottle of wine, but cannont continue to justify the price.
