March 10, 2024 - 2017 base, 2021 disgorgement. Very chardonnay - clean, green apple, minerally flavors, but I feel like there is more excitement elsewhere available at this price point.

    February 23, 2024 - 2015 base, 11/19 disgorgement, 2 g/l dosage.

A lot of brioche, some yellow apple, nice acidity and minerality.

February 20, 2024 - Delicious BdB. Bright, fresh, and clean with all the elements you want in a good BdB: chalk, lemon, white flowers, bright acid. Refreshing. Nothing profound but something I could drink every day. Would buy more.

February 9, 2024 - Friday Night at Dave's Place: This pours medium straw in the glass with moderate to light effervescence. The nose is not hugely expressive or complex, but pleasing and straightforward showing binned apple, pear, chalk, white flowers, and peach. The palate is bright and lemony with very low perceived dosage while the acid remained focused. Finish is moderate in length showing meyer lemon and pleasing chalky mineral notes. All in all a nice showing, but lacking the extra interest I might expect given the reputation and price point here.

NOSE: lemony, with a touch of fresh baguette; light chalk, too.

BODY: light yellow color; active, medium-bubbled bead; light bodied.

TASTE: super dry; largely in-line with my previous notes, but for perhaps having just a weeee bit less energy than the bottle I had about a year ago --- this is an excellent, bright and crisp Champagne that aligns with my preferences quite well. Paired excellently with sushi rolls.

October 24, 2023 - Med. lemon in color, fine pearlage, developing aromas of brioche/yeasty, yellow & green apple, quince, cream/yougurt, lemon, and some dried pineapple. Very ripe smelling. Palate matches, dry wine, med + flavor intensity, med + acid, med alcohol, but you can really feel it on your cheeks. Med body, with a med + finish. Ripe in the mouth, the alcohol feel threw me through a loop a bit. Can drink now, but suitable for further aging, V. Good.
