February 3, 2024 - What a great wine. Bigger style, but still in great balance. Zero flabbiness. Edges toward blackberry pie, but with good acidity so its not over the top. Well done.

December 27, 2021 - My last of these. Exactly the same as previous notes, this is one to age - showing well at this stage (must have been an impenetrable monster upon release) but will improve further. Worth decanting.

September 19, 2020 - Drinking beautiful right now. You can tell it's Rutherford!

June 16, 2020 - This has improved a bit since the previous bottle I had about seven months ago. Right out of the bottle, this is huge on the palate and I was concerned it might be congested and overdone (like my experience with most '13 Napa cabs), but it eased up over time, still showing massive concentration and power, but also some elegance and depth. Pretty impressive in many ways, and definitely delivers for those who like a big, ripe cab. Will show better with more bottle age though - I'd give it at least another two years.

October 31, 2019 - Big and brawny, this must have been very backward for the last few years, though it's opened up quite a bit by now. This is quite intense, full-bodied, some acidity too, typical for the vintage. I still find the '13 vintage generally overdone. I generally find Pina needs more time than most and this should improve more. Pricey, though if you like power this has it.
