June 27, 2020 - Just such a succulent, bright, juicy yet reasonably balanced pinot. Red fruited all the way. This bottle was not as complex on the finish as my last so I'd say drink up!!

December 9, 2019 - Unbelievable Pinot. Succulent and rich...deep flavors...perfectly balanced. So glad I have two more bottles.

February 4, 2018 - Napa Valley Tastings; 2/3/2018-2/4/2018: Tasted at the Envy tasting room, in the back (which is where Carter has their tastings).
Light in color for a pinot.
    Aroma - spice, strawberry, cranberry.
Structured, and may improve with age... but it's great now too. Drink 2018-2023.

January 12, 2018 - Winorama: A winter in Wineland II; 1/6/2018-1/14/2018 (Portland, Eureka, Napa): From four different clones on a vineyard that's just about Gaps Crown at around 1200 feet elevation. Very nice. Much more herbal and stem driven than fruit. Almost a hint of olive brine. Last sense is some of the red fruits. I like the depth of it.

January 9, 2018 - Big and rich pinot with lots of dark cherry, some cranberry and light spice with great mouthfeel and a long rich lingering finish
