December 20, 2018 - Still a lovely wine, maybe even more pleasing than our last bottle in 2014

April 24, 2017 - Dark garnet color, showing little signs of age; meaty, volcanic crushed fruit nose, then good, medium intense dark fruit, crushed rocks, a hint of sweetness from the warmer vintage, nicely balancing acidity, and some fine but noticeable tannins. Quite delicious now in its adolescence, but destined to go another decade at least before reaching full maturity. Quintessential California Syrah.

May 13, 2016 - This has 3-4 years left, at least. Ignore the CT drinking window.

March 29, 2016 - Saved the best for last!!

January 9, 2016 - this was really nice. RaNae said "I can sense Vanessa's (winemaker) work." I think she was the winemaker then (and the whole time). It had the whole package that I'm not eloquent enough to describe. Nice subtle fruit, earthiness, balance, nose with some spice, just a real pleasure to drink. One left.
