June 28, 2023 - Very, very nice! Super Tuscan in so many ways. Tannins fully integrated with an hour decant. Dark fruits with fine sediments....needs to be decanted. A small bit of leather with the fruit, but the fruit is center stage.

February 20, 2021 - Plenty of fruit, some baking spices, and tangy acid. Nicely done. ? Sangiovese in this blend?

November 12, 2020 - Decanted for one hour then consumed over the next three. Dark in color and in fruit, this bottle feels like it is in development presently residing in a monolithic fruit stage. Nice acid gives the wine lift. Hopefully it will gain much needed texture and dimension.

July 18, 2020 - Get together with friends to drink some of Bacio Divino’s reds side by side to see how they compare. Dark ruby fruit - currants, blackberry, dark cherry, and a little blueberry. A nice purity and smooth - the tannins are quite soft. However, it came across lighter than expected in consideration of the 95 rating from WA and also the cabernet source (sourced from their single vineyard Janzen cabs Beckstoffer Missouri Hopper, Beckstoffer To-Kalon, Cloudy’s, and also from Beckstoffer George’s) - medium body. Nice rich flavors of dark berries, some spice/licorice, and a little graphite component. Decent finish but not overly long nor deep. Popped/poured but drank over a couple hours. Not much improvement with time but appears to be at a nice drinking point. Drank next to a 2015 Janzen Beckstoffer Missouri Hopper and 2015 Janzen Cloudy’s cabs which were quite a bit better - bigger/fuller and more expressive. 90% cab, 7% Sangiovese, and 3% petit verdot.

February 14, 2020 - Wow very very nice. Love the initial aromas blueberry, cassis and a hint of anise reveals itself. As the previous reviewer noted this is an aromatic wine. It is very enjoyable just through the aromas alone. The palate is nice. Mouthfeel is well rounded. Love the tannic bite with the very smooth finish. This was a pop and pour. As dinner progressed it only got better. Sadly this was my only bottle.

November 24, 2018 - Some slight eucalyptus on the nose along with dark fruit. Cassis, dark berries, blueberries, camphor. Integrated tannins with a smooth, velvety mouthfeel. Glass is full of fruit flavors. Fantastic.

July 27, 2018 - Day 2: This is a good wine, it has come to life. Attractive nose is really fragrant and on the palate, elegant yet nicely extracted dark black and blueberry fruit, nice density and purity. This wine should age nicely. Revised score of 94 Points and a good example of a wine that really benefits from a long slow ox.

July 27, 2018 - Popped, poured, and on the pallet, ‘Meh’ - A pretty average Napa Valley Cabernet, let it sit and get some air. Given time this wine began to come around, revealing decent dark berry fruit and modest extraction. I’ve tried earlier vintages of this wine and this one was not bad. 92.5 Points.
