October 9, 2020 - The cork was half way stained and intact. Decanted for one hour. Beautiful nose showing vibrant floral notes(rose petals), red fruit and a bit of tar. Medium(+) bodied, supple with firm tannic grip, delivering rather vibrant red toned fruit with a bit of tar, decent acicidy and good dusty kick on the finish. Overall very poised and youthful; could probably hold for another decade. Excellent stuff.

January 21, 2017 - Nose: Relatively strong and appealing. Initially dark cherries and some leather. Later delicious dried, dark cherry-like fruits and less leather.
Taste: Relatively strong and medium-full bodied. Initially dark cherries, a hint of leather, 'tarry' and 'oaky' tannins, slightly bitter after-taste. Later 'mature' dark fruit, slightly pronounced acidity, rounder (yet still slightly 'tarry') tannins.
Well made, delicious, very drinkable and appealing. Will wait 2-5 years before I open the other bottle I have.2 people found this helpful Comment
