May 17, 2019 - big, burly, raisin-oid, one of the most concentrated wines i have ever tasted, almost reminiscent of a late harvest zinfandel. per Duane 'unilateral cough syrup'. not particularly complimentary monikers. yet others went bonkers for it.

May 5, 2019 - Medium body for a cab; warm and elegant. Palate of ripe black cherry, dried fruit and smoke. Long finish, and I have to say that I enjoyed this much more before the steak arrived. Bobby Van's which has no good glasses :(

April 21, 2018 - This wine is really singing. Warm inviting nose with red fruit that actually sweetened in decanter over 4 or 5hrs...wine still has legs and has not reached full maturity imho. In this setting tasted blind vs 94 Mondavi reserve and an 88 Petrus...With about 2hrs decanted was much more expressive than the others.

March 31, 2018 - Still deserves all the hype. A perfect Cali Cab. Wonderful nose, length, finish and more importantly taste and texture. Just wonderfull
