March 18, 2019 - Nose of smoke and cigar, palate had roasted plum, cinnamon and leather. Lovely drink with lingering tiertiary notes. Clearly new world but restrained and reminds you of the good 'ol days of napa..

April 17, 2018 - A Capella (My place): The most Bordeaux lookalike Bryant I ever had, but it was a good suit it was wearing! Black berries, sunday roast, tobacco, red bell peppers, slightly medicinal.
    Bright future ahead here

December 23, 2017 - Utterly perfect. A perfect blend of fruit and nuanced secondary characteristics - typical Pritchard Hill/Napa Cabernet. Dark purple and opaque - opened and decanted for two hours to remove the considerable amount of sediment that has collected over the past 18 years. Still youthful on the nose, the first taste reveals black and red fruits, cassis, and a savory note that dissipates into a sweet finish. Drinking over an hour, the bottle opened up further to reveal layers of complexity that I didn't notice with the past bottles over the years. Can't really see this getting any better, and I wish I had more! Bravo!

February 27, 2017 - Big disappointment. I've liked Bryant every time I've drank it, even Parker disparaged vintages. This was a letdown. Started strong, with good deep flavors upon opening. Decanted over a couple hours and drank over long night. But after a big glass and a half my teeth were coated and the finish just wasn't quite good. Next night (saved a third of the bottle under pump without decanting) it could have been your basic Napa cab. Still good stuff, but nothing cultish.
