February 6, 2020 - Yellow gold with fine beads. The nose is very expressive of ripe, succulent red and golden apples in combination with green pear. hint of kiwi and key lime as well. Underneath the layers of fruit there is a pastry note, and a good amount of toast and honey which together with a light floral element makes for an elegant and rich aromatic profile. In the mouth, expertly balanced with a rich and intense creamy mouthfeel, very fruity still and a hint of charred wood emerges. Hard to believe this is Zero dosage as there is not the bonedry mouthdrying element that i often find with ZD cuvee's. The barrel aging broadens out the flavors and lends depth to the wine, but without sacrificing the elegant frame or the layered fruit and cream. Excellent

January 8, 2020 - Excellent champagne - my favourite of the "grower champagnes" I've come across, with its generous style. Fine mousse. Lovely Burgundy-brioche scents, some floral aspects in there too. Palate elegant, not too high acid, incredibly drinkable. Apples and toast. Very clean finish though plenty of fruit and fun in here. Fine, but I think perhaps a bit on the young side, compared to my memories of the 2002.

January 5, 2020 - My first try of this wine! Wow I’m impressed- delicious with oysters. It wasn’t that hard for a 2008. It will be great to follow this wine!

August 30, 2019 - Open about 24 hours at this point with one glass left overnight. There is strong scent of pear & citrus on the nose. The palate is creamier then I recall last night with notes of green apple, kiwi, and lemon. The acidity is still present, but at this point it's more like drinking a really nice still wine than Champagne. This should be an interesting Champagne to follow mid-term with good storage. Outstanding!!
