December 9, 2019 - Wow, what a weak effort we have here, absolutely nothing but a red bottle of vanilla cream soda.
Honestly I don’t know how you can’t make something better than this with the grapes FSs has at its disposal.
Drink now or when ever, it will never evole into anything worth saving.
August 31, 2018 - One hour decant. Deep dark magenta color with surprisingly yellowing rim (not sure what that’s about in a ‘14 wine). Coffee grounds, vanilla bean, maple wood and black cherry on the nose. Smooth, full palate with good acidity. Soft, round tannins on the medium finish.
This is a very quaffable wine, albeit a touch extracted. It’s a decent QPR nonetheless.

September 30, 2017 - Crazy nose. Herbs. Nice round with good tannins and fruit. Medium finish.
August 29, 2017 - Always a solid value Napa Valley Cabernet. Deep ruby red. Very dark nose with notes of anise, dark sweet spices and dark spices. Medium tannins (6/10) and medium plus bodied. Balanced and smooth with solid spices, cinnamon, dark plums and earthy undertones. Long finish. Drink till 2024.
June 10, 2017 - Gave it a 45 min decant, good nose of black fruit, on entry blackberry with touches of raspberry, excellent mix of acidity in the mid-palate, a balanced wine with fruit, acidity and tannins all playing in harmony. A pleasant wine for a baby. Should get better but drinking very well.
