Community Tasting Notes 6

August 20, 2019 - Mild, woody, chamomile tea, a bit emptier than mighty 2002 we had before.

June 5, 2014 - Very nice mature Sauvignon at its peak of drinkability. Round and soft yet crisp with some tangerine, grapefruit, good minerality of chalk.

July 23, 2010 - This was a very different wine from the one I tasted 4 years ago. It was low on acid and high on grassy, cat pee. I would have guessed New Zealand in a blind tasting. It was disappointing in that it tasted nothing like a traditional Cotat.

December 7, 2006 - I love the Cotat style of Sauvignon Blanc. Beautiful framework of minerals and acid, medium-bodied, with a rich core of citrus and stone fruits. Really wonderful.

June 14, 2006 - Monthly Tasting Group HWS #013; Sancerre (By BS @ HW): Minerals like flint stones. Good acidity. A well made SB.
