November 26, 2021 - Dark, thick and rich, almost syrah like. Dark fruit and floral scents on the nose. Blackberry and baking spices on the palate. Medium finish. Big favorite at Thanksgiving dinner. 😋

August 1, 2020 - This is a very user friendly OPN due to the density of fruit and significant glycerin. They hide the 14.3% etoh nicely. Big blackberry, black cherry, and plum along with all kinds of spice and a hint of oak. Now-2022.

November 28, 2019 - Medium dark ruby, bordering on purple. Slightly cloudy.

Nose is big with candied dark cherry, black licorice, a touch of heat, sweet baking spices.

Palate is dark-fruited and ripe, with some blackberry syrup. There is a weird rubber/chemical streak as well, but that is not at the forefront. First time with this bottle/producer, and it is a big, modern, extracted beast. The nose is pretty nice to come back to but the palate is not really my thing, but it did grow on me later in the night.

Final call is this showcases quality, but not what I was looking for out of an Oregon Pinot tonight.

August 25, 2019 - Blackberry fruit, spice, cassis, a bit of anise, and a nearly ideal balance of velvety tannins and acid makes for a very decadent Pinot Noir. My favorite Juel to date.

June 6, 2019 - Excellent Pinot. Spicy. Cinnamon. Licorice. Nice garnet color. Balanced acidity. Really enjoyable and rich Pinot.
