January 23, 2021 - Beautiful, ripe, rich, elegant Barossa Shiraz. Nose shows the sweet vanillan of French oak.
Rich, ripe yet elegant palate. 14.5 alc leaves its mark, but it’s not unbalanced. Some tea leaf tannin. Mature but will evolve over many years.

August 19, 2017 - Serious wine. Medium to full bodied, beautiful red and black fruit up front with a hint of almond. Nice tannins in support and a long length on the palate. Good aging potential.

June 13, 2017 - Moncur Syrah/Shiraz (Bistro Moncur, Sydney): Smells like a ripe old school Aussie Shiraz on the nose and so it proves on the palate. It is what it is.

April 30, 2017 - French and American oak contribute to the blend, very evident on nose where the oak influences are layered with rich black fruit. On palate, the texture is almost sweet vanilla with black acidity holding the whole in balance. Distinctly different impacts over the length of the palate

    April 22, 2017 - I agree with the Campbell Mattinson's description.
