Pale/light straw yellow, transparent.
The nose of freshly cut grass, green apple,
Light bodied, high acidity, dry. Explosive notes of exotic fruits - honeydew melon, ripe Thai papaya, juicy pineapple, grapefruit. Spring leaves. Sea salt and mineral profile adds complexity. Refreshing and crisp.
This is NZ SB as it should be. Très très bien! 89
April 24, 2017 - pale light, mineral grass aroma, steel lemon-lime on the taste.
March 25, 2017 - Citrus, citrus, citrus. Has some grapefruit with grass on the nose, but predominantly livelier citrus. Fresh and a good food wine. Makes you pucker a bit when drinking by itself, so drink with cheese, seafood or lighter fare.
