June 12, 2021 - Big, bold, cab franc, as only Rockpile can do. Fooled husband into thinking it was a cab.

March 31, 2018 - Took to a Seder. I thought this would complement the usual brisket, and indeed it did. This is richer than a typical Loire CF, think more of the CF dominated Bordeaux, but this is still nicely restrained, with a nice balance of rich fruit, tobacco leaf, a little vegetable matter.

December 5, 2017 - A bit aggressive at first, but comes into balance with some time in the glass. Silky smooth mouthfeel, medium body, balanced acidity and a long finish.

June 10, 2017 - Lighter in body than I remember, although it does gain some weight with air. Red cherry, herbs and a bit of spice on the medium body. Fairly versatile food wine.
