August 1, 2017 - Decanted 2 hrs, dense ruby color, balanced nose, med mouthfeel, med+ length finish with some oak/tannins, couldn't put it down, nice QPR at $20 sale price, rated on group avg,I like mid-weight, approachable Meritages.

January 30, 2017 - Nose like a cherry starburst, very fruity with some leather. Very deep and thick crimson color.
Tastes very juicy and dry while the tannins are well balanced and sit softly on your palate. Very nice would buy more.
