May 5, 2021 - Agree with a previous review in that I might've guessed aged Bordeaux had I tried this blind. Primary notes of sweet black cherry and tobacco are accented by hints of mixed herbs throughout. Not much tannic presence, and the acidity is medium-low. Simple and tasty, not sure if this has the capacity to improve with more time.
January 3, 2021 - Really food for 60$ cad. Starting to develop some serious tertiary flavors.
Like an old Bordeaux.
December 25, 2019 - I agree with many previous notes...ready and smooth with ripe fruit and herbs and spices...quite sweet but has enough body to render it very enjoyable. 91+
November 10, 2019 - Wonderful wine that drinks very well right now. A lot of herbs in this full-bodied CdP with nice round maturity notes on the nose.
May 12, 2018 - DIscover VINO - Fine wines corner; 5/11/2018-5/12/2018 (Sofia): Excellent for drinking now, with its rounded full body, oily with ripe plums and some spices - lavender ?, Harmony and consistence - start to finish.
March 16, 2018 - Very nice. Easy drinking but needed some time (1-2 hours) to really get going.
December 30, 2017 - I found this wine difficulty to drink. It displayed some notes of spice and cherry. The balance of grenache and other grapes wasn't as pleasant at some other CNDP. I don't feel the price is justified. I would only purchase again to see if I had an off bottle or if in a few years the wine evolves. I agree with Vinero on this one.
August 29, 2017 - Dark, herbal, spicy, with a hard and tannic finish. Still an impresdive wine, but I've had many CdP's who are more gentle and pleasant to drink.
August 24, 2017 - This was absolutely delicious - served after an hour of decanting. Deep, rich ruby color with notes of tobacco, blackberry, cherry, and slate. Incredibly smooth and lovely!
August 12, 2017 - Decanted 3 hours. Very smooth. Overpriced though at $64 CAD.
