December 14, 2022 - Oak and tannins haven't softened in 2+ years since the last bottle. High quality fruit flavors makes me still think there's promise. But even drinking over several days, it didn't improve much. Food helps. Will try to wait a few more years before trying again.

November 15, 2020 - Had at Becca restaurant at the Cavalier hotel in Virginia Beach, then picked up a few bottles at a local shop.
Black body with red bubbles around rim. Nose has earthy clay, plum, red currants, to a lesser degree woodsmoke, tar, cool mint. Smooth palate, black cassis, plum, leather, fig stem/skin, lovely tannins. Dry, spicy finish.
Needs a little decanting but seems to be reaching its prime accessibility now. -

October 28, 2020 - Its a baby...but I have 12, so wanted to see where she was. All blueberry and cherry upfront. Chewy tannins for days with a wonderfully earthy finish. Very happy with this one.
