February 21, 2021 - Hand carried this bottle back from a 2017 trip to Mendoza where we met with Mr. Patti at his facility in Lujan de Cuyo. This was an enjoyable blend of Cab, Cab Franc, Merlot and Malbec. Probably at peak if not on a downward trajectory as tannins are holding but fruit seemed to be a bit more faded since my last bottle a couple years back. Recommend drinking up if you have one. Day 2 > Day 1
Paired wonderfully with an Argentine version of a Florentine Steak (Huge porterhouse charred and finished with Chimichurri) -

May 27, 2020 - Wine has years ahead of it. Serious tannins. Poured into decanter and started drink with a wood fired t-bone with Chimichurri. This wine had plenty of structure to stand up to the steak even after 12 years. The last glasses after we finished the streak were really impressive. Red fruit and spice.
