October 22, 2018 - Big improvement on the last bottle. Cherries and chocolate dominate. Luscious, and easy drinking. Good value.

March 6, 2018 - Consistent with previous tasting September, 2017. Dark garnet in color, this wine shows intense chocolate covered cherry, tar, leather and raspberry on the nose. The mouth feel brought high acidity, subtle tannins and hints of smoke and fruitcake. The finish had good lift and brought out the cherry and raspberry elements but kept the relatively high 14.5% abv barely noticeable.

Purchased for $14US, this is a very well made, excellent example of Barbera from the region. It is drinking very well now. It's an excellent value at the price level.

November 23, 2017 - Not the velvety, smooth number I remembered from the restaurant. Raspberry dominant but it had a somewhat unpleasant finish to it (almost vinegar like). Bottle variation? Will see what the others bring to the table.
