January 11, 2023 - Ripe red fruits, paprika, the acidity brings some freshness, went a bit downhill during the second evening, so I think slowly ending its prime drinking window.

November 24, 2022 - Decanted, lovely walnut and dark fruits on the nose. Extremely well balanced, tannins have come down entirely and acidity has balanced out perfectly. Dark cherry and plum on the palate. Lovely to see how time has soothed it.

    November 14, 2021 - not blind
not decanted. Close to his peak, not tired, still primary notes and supplementing tertiary aromas. not too concentrated and not too marmelade Parker style. 92-93

November 6, 2020 - CS battle between this, Wynns, and Château Montelena where this finished in last place although I thought this would be better.
    Not a bad wine though.

October 25, 2020 - Well balanced wine with the typical South-African terroir-characteristics, but not in your face. The fruit is ripe, displaying red fruits and blackberries. The wood is present but wel integrated. The acidity is rather pronounced and delivers freshness.
