October 22, 2023 - Similar to the last bottle this was seriously reduced and sulphur dominated to the point of being downright unpleasant to drink. Even worse than the previous bottle. Checked it numerous times from over 4 hours in the evening and again the next morning to no avail. I know Bergstrom has a great reputation and often gets high scores, but their that wines I have had over the years including a full tasting at the winery 6 years ago have always been disappointing to me. seemingly too manipulated or something.
June 22, 2023 - Crunchy lemon on the nose. Also pineapple, melon and green apple.
Very soft and tender at first on the palate. But then comes a striking acidity that secures balance and drinkability. Long finish. Very good.
May 2, 2021 - Much different than the bottle I had last year. White flowers on the nose. The palate was peach, melon and hints of citrus. Gone was the oak that came out in the past. Enjoyable. Served with Sunday night sushi.
June 7, 2020 - Very enjoyable bottle of chardonnay. Different style than California. This wine has mineral, graphite and citrus with enough oak to keep everything in balance. Served with Sunday night sushi and alongside a few bottles of pinot noir.
May 7, 2020 - Much, much better with more time in the bottle. Still has a lot of struck match/reduction, but much better integration and balance.
March 30, 2020 - Nice straight Chardonnay. Not that complex but very drinkable
January 18, 2020 - Very different style of chardonnay. Very bright citrus and very minerally. Enjoyable.
July 10, 2019 - Lättare än förväntat, fortfarande lite sur
June 30, 2019 - Same notes as last bottle. It is very pleasant Chardonnay with a little oak plus some nice citrus fruit and minerality.
February 10, 2019 - Good, but not as great as the ‘14. As the previous reviewer heavy flavor on the hazelnuts due to over coopperage on the burning of the barrels. Made acid and fruit non-balanced and minimal finish.
