  November 27, 2022 - Brownish red. Fresh and fruity aromas with dark berries and some wood. A bit looser structure than in the 2008. But more full bodied, rounder and more accessible. Fine tannins.

  January 2, 2022 - The colour is dark ruby with a dense core. Complex and seductive aromas of darker ripe fruit mixed with spices, menthol and cinnamon. On the palate the wine is medium weight, with ripe fruit and the same elements as indicated by the nose. Acidity is medium, the tannins are smooth and the long finish is juicy and spicy. Superbly balanced. The wine evolves with time in the glass, offering new sensory experiences with each sniff.
  
  The level of complexity that Flavio extracts from an ‘everyday’ grape as the Barbera is just astonishing. Another magical bottle from Il Maestro
