December 8, 2012 - Opened up very nicely after a couple of hours in the decanter. Starting to loose the fruit, structure still good. To drink up now.
February 25, 2010 - Mixed Bordeaux at PRIMA: nose - reminds me of a napa zin - overripe fruit, then oak
mouth - tannins way outweigh the fruit. Some plummy flavors. the tannins are bitter. lacks elegance but went fine with 'fatty chicken' which turned some heads in the restaurant.

June 5, 2008 - Forgot to put my last bottle on a safe place and poured it today. A lot of elegance. But not all that spectacular. Ok, but not really special is the verdict. Not coming close to what a second growth should taste like, but certainly not unpleasant. Will probably not improve.
November 20, 2007 - Drinking this wine today, I think my note made in 2005 was a little too negative. In the meantime the wine has developed and, although still not really great, the acidity has evolved to a more pleasant stage. There is some fruit and depth now. I think I will keep my last bottle for another 5 years just to see what happens.
October 31, 2005 - Not bad, but not belonging to the top. Too much acidity combined with too less fruit and complexity.
December 10, 1998 - A fairly high mark considering the vintage and the poor reputation of the Chateau. Great value for money, an overall classic bordeaux, not incredible depth but some nice red berries undertones.
