May 13, 2021 - 98 points. Dark purple color with a nose of black fruit. The tannins are firm but already in perfect balance with the fruit. Long 45 plus second finish with chocolate, blackberry and plum.

May 1, 2021 - Ripe red fruits, cassis, currants, cherry, raspberry, red apple skin, red plum, dried earth, leaf tobacco and cigar box, fine baking spices, clove, cinnamon and a touch of vanilla. This is perfectly balanced, medium tannin, acidity and medium plus body and length. This has the perfect weight and one of the better red fruit dominant cabs in the valley. Drinks well as a PnP, but will be putting this in a decanter for four hours before dinner.

April 12, 2020 - Popped and poured. This is a dense purple wine. On the nose, I get black currant, cassis, mint, and blueberry. In the mouth, this is a dense, smooth, and layered wine, leaving a rich and long-lasting finish. Overall, this is a powerful wine in which the quality and effort are apparent. That said, it may be too much for some folks (indeed, the absurd over-large bottle is unnecessary and too much for me). Still, it is hard to find a fault and this should be awesome with a quality steak. 94 points.

November 12, 2019 - Still very young, but approachable... fruit concentration is on point, very nicely balanced, elegant on the finish. As expected, this is top tier juice... but surely this will be even better in 2-4 years once it's had more time to integrate.

June 21, 2019 - Had at Sir Winston's with Chateaubriand tonight. For such a young wine with such a short 1 hour decant, this showed beautifully. I have gravitated toward Bevan CS the past few years because my wife and I both prefer fruit-forward wines. Not alcoholic fruit bombs, but 10 pounds of fruit shoved into a one-pound bag. This wine delivered that in spades. If you give it about 4-5 hours and you like fruit, then this will do it for you.
