May 5, 2015 - Wow, was this wine is a true treat. This wine when young was nothing like this. It was good but not like this now. The ullage was perfectly high like a brand new wine. The quantity of sediment was quite small. Once decanted, the wine looked light to medium-light with a bricky color but not brown. The core was of a healthy red. The nose was tremendous. It was cedar, tobacco, leather and dried fruit. Complex! The taste was consistent with the nose and the tannins were low also. The wine was not lush but very fulfilling. The waitress used the word dusty which was quite accurate. It is the kind of wine I love. It is lighter and smaller scale in body but so jammed with flavors. It was almost Burgundian as far as being pretty. Sweet in the sense that Broadbent uses it. So happy with this and two left after this bottle from a full case bought at release. So far the tenth bottle tonight tasted the best so far from this entire case. Waiting paid off with this bottle and the last two also. Fantastic wine and younger people need to taste more wines like this. Tremendous learning experience for our waitress and maître d'. It was for birthday dinner for someone born in 1993.

June 7, 2013 - Light extraction, dark crimson with lots of bricking; great nose of Bordeaux, cigar, bell pepper, red currant; lighter body, soft, lower alcohol, resolved and delicious; I was thinking this was Haut-Medoc and predominantly Cab, great provenance, very surprised to see the bottle once revealed.

July 5, 2008 - Deep red color. Nose: Lots of ripe fruit. Palate: Rich, round, creamy, plumy. Finish: Delicious fruit lingers for a long time. Lovely, lovely stuff.
