April 22, 2019 - Getting a little older, blue fruits , nose was a bit muted which is surprising . Not as obvious a stunner as last time.

March 30, 2019 - Similar to my last bottle: a touch of heat and jamminess, but still pure, fruit driven pleasure. Now Iā€™m down to my last bottle.

February 5, 2018 - A touch more heat and jaminess than prior bottles, but still oh so good: pure, primal, fruit driven and just a pleasure to drink. Should last another decade minimum.

November 16, 2017 - Dark garnet, purple, still completely opaque. Slightest hint of brown at the edge. Complex sweet herbal nose of black cherries, black raspberries, plums, quite pronounced. Extremely viscous. Flavors are deep and rich to match, and perfectly balanced. It's full-bodied but perfectly smooth, mouth-coating but not at all coarse or heavy. Just slight tannin but no bitterness. Extreme aftertaste of dark fruits. When first tasted I rated it 95, but after four hours it had blossomed to perfection. Time to drink up!

September 23, 2017 - I like excellent Shiraz , This was top notch . Almost 20 years on , I could drink this for the rest of my life and enjoy the nose , maybe on older side but just barely .

(Torbreck RunRig) Group's #1 (my #3) ā€“ 46 pts; 5 firsts, 5 seconds, 3 thirds, 2 last places ā€“ very dark red violet color; narrower berry, blackberry, dried berry nose; tight yet, berry, oak, ripe black fruit palate, a little hot; medium finish 88+ pts. (this bottle showed nowhere near as well as when I've tried this wine multiple times in the past, and even the finish was much attenuated; I suspect a problem with the bottle)

(Torbreck RunRig) Dark red violet color; maturing, berry, black raspberry, caramel nose; appealing, mature, rich, tart berry, black raspberry, blackberry palate with a caramel edge; long finish

(Torbreck RunRig) Very dark red violet color; wow, big, lovely, blackberry, berry, lavender and boysenberry compote nose; great boysenberry, berry and blackberry palate with depth; long finish
