December 13, 2017 - The front label does not indicate "Reserve" but the back label does. Hmm. Deep ruby. Dusty, fleshy nose with accents of what I call bacon, indicative of the high proportion of cabernet franc in the blend. Not much fruit in the taste, hard but not overly tannic or acidic. Oak is at a minimum. Needs time to come together. If the fruit ever emerges this will become an interesting wine.

December 26, 2016 - Inky purple. Aromas of spicy plum, raspberry and woody notes. Pleasantly smooth with dark fruit, oak and graphite on the palate. Nice weekday wine.
