August 12, 2019 - My first reaction sniffing this brooding monster: Iron soup. 2015 is a big vintage in Beaujolais, so yes, this is a big wine. There is a lot of iron and tannin in this wine as well as a lot of fruit. Ready to drink now, I think it will be even more interesting in a decade. Excellent.

March 13, 2019 - Beautiful floral nose, blackberry and hints of red fruit. Nice palate cleaning acidity, just crushed this bottle. Lovely

    November 22, 2018 - Delicious but young. Revisit 2020.

November 8, 2018 - Beaujolais Bash (Arlequin Wine Merchant, San Francisco): Bursting with sweet florals and red fruits but hot on the finish and possibly not at full phenolic ripeness.

October 11, 2018 - 14.29% (quite precise?! never noticed such accuracy on Foillard's bottles) - Clear, med ruby with hints of black / clean, med+ intensity - blackberry, cassis, violet bouquet, cinnamon, crushed rocks / dry, med refreshing acidity, med- supple tannin, med body, med+ intensity, med length. Chewy fruit, more prominent spicy notes than less warmer vintages. This is the first vintage I prefer the Corcelette over the Cote du Py (at least so far).
