March 25, 2023 - Perfect provenance and colour. It shows butter, caramel and ripe yellow fruit on both the nose and palate. The 85 Batard shows the terroir richness and fatness but it does not live up to the expectation of the vintage. At peak. Drink up.

August 4, 2019 - Tasted blind, this wine had a light yellow center and clear rims. It looked shockingly young. The medium- intensity nose showed lemon/lime, brioche, marzipan and apples.

In the mouth, this wine was medium bodied with firm acidity and excellent length. It was refined and beautifully balanced rather than dramatic.

I would argue for a minimum of 5 hours in a decanter before you drink this one to bring out its flavors. Who knows how long this will age? It will easily last 10-15 years from here (assuming good storage). However, I doubt there is a lot of upside.

September 28, 2016 - hanging on by the thread of the last fingernail.
deep gold, as you would expect, a faint touch of spearmint, nice length but not super complex. Would have been much better a decade ago.
