  April 19, 2023 - This felt like a somewhat indistinct red with some fresh wood shaving, ripe-ish red fruit, and a little herbs. I thought it was fine enough, but didn’t read as Piemonte. Didn’t detect it being on the decline though.

  September 23, 2021 - Consistent from last bottle years ago, surprised as thought it may be in decline. Served PnP with eggplant parm, ziti w/ broccoli, and homeade minestrone soup. Then finished off on 3rd night, some decline but still enjoyable, but wld advise drink by day 2. For me any Italian decent drinker at this price is enjoyed, happens when your last name ends in a vowel and you sweat olive oil.

  August 16, 2021 - Nothing stands out but this is a good med. body red. Reasonable complexity with some floral and spice notes. Great QPR at my auction price.

  January 12, 2021 - Stvjackson was spot on. I couldn’t place the violet but that was the missing piece. The black fruit comes out early but quickly replaced by red cherry and raspberry. I get baking spices at the end and through the finish.
