November 4, 2018 - Nice fruit, smooth easy drinker, solid Malbec, paired with venison

January 5, 2018 - Heavy tart aroma and taste, which did not diminish after 2 hours of breathing. Noticed deep earthy notes, which would have been pleasant had the tartness diminished.

May 9, 2017 - Pleasantly darker fruited with some tobacco, but wanting a bit more stuffing. Not a great value.

April 23, 2017 - WSET Diploma - South America (and a Tignanello!) (SF): Medium plus ruby color, with tears.
Medium intensity nose of indistinct black fruit, violets/flowers. Black pepper. Slight underripe/weedy/stemmy note.

Dry, high alcohol (14%), full-bodied, medium plus acid, high tannins (drying and slightly unripe). Medium plus finish. Slight impression of oak - but mostly used.

March 23, 2017 - A more restrained Malbec with nice balance. Drinks easy with just a little bite on the back end.
