December 31, 2023 - Very much enjoyed by all as an excellent wine to go with our luxury fish pie for NYE. Medium lemon colour. Lovely orchard fruits - quince, yellow apple, pear alongside candied lemon. Hint of lanolin (wet wool) and wet stone. A slight nutty, oxidative element to the wine too, but exactly what I’d expect for an 8-year old Savennières. High acidity nicely balances the fruit on the palate. Long finish. Outstanding. Can drink now or hold for further development, although personally I’d drink now.

November 1, 2023 - Partially oxidized, deep gold hew, astringent. Sour green apples, candied lime, coconut, toffee. Acid was still strong. Great with spicy shrimp tacos

February 13, 2023 - This has developed and picked up weight, as billed. Still bright and crisp, dried flowers, but now with more body and (for the third time now) an unusual touch of smoke. One could wait longer but I say why not drink up and get it while the goin’s good.

December 19, 2022 - Continues to develop nicely.
Slight evolution of hue but nothing alarming.
Bright, intense aromas of citrus, root vegetables as well as heavier floral notes; really lovely aromatics.
Excellent acidity, nice texture and balance. A classic ageworthy wine and a great value...
    Will still improve

November 3, 2021 - It continues to develop nicely.
Improved over the course of several hours; great freshness.
    Completely under-rated appellation
