July 7, 2021 - Nose gooseberry, chives, Mineral, pear, leesy. Palate far more acidic than vintage should have allowed - I love it - and plenty of mineral, but with ripe gooseberry and grapefruit. One of the best Loire 2015 Sauvignons.
June 18, 2020 - Actually better than I'd expected.Straw colored, a bit of lemon and grapefruit in the nose. A delicious elixir, lots of fruit, minerals, here's to the Loire. Valley's Sauvignon Blanc!
October 3, 2019 - ripe nose of green fruit (key lime, kiwi, unripe melon) but no flab on palate; plenty of acidity and some green herbs or riverbed moss, but not overly grassy
April 28, 2019 - TWARD's "down-the-middle" description seems about right. No complaints for the price. Nothing off here, but not particularly stimulating. 87-88pts.
December 25, 2018 - Not a standout, but a fine bottle, down-the-middle style and showing the warmth of the vintage with a glow and a feeling of fullness, but did not lack for proper acid and cut. No notes, in a mixed setting.
August 28, 2018 - Blind Tasting in Cottonwood: My wine so not blind.
Straw color. Lemon and granny smith apple on the nose, slight grapefruit and jalapeno note as well. Aggressively mineral with a very tart palate.
Was taken to Old World SB very quickly by the group.
June 9, 2017 - Pale yellow color. Nose of lime, lemon, a little lees. Medium body (-) focused lime, gooseberry fruit, dry with refreshing acidity. Medium finish. Still young!
