May 25, 2019 - Quite decent, good fresh red fruit and a bit of herbs. Not over the top, which is appreciated. Easy going, great wine for a campsite in this case. Drink now.

February 6, 2019 - I'm going high on scoring this wine vis-a-vis my CT peers. Mirroring so many of my experiences with Xavier, this wine was just 'meh' on day one. Primary, a touch too fruit driven, chunky, and even monolithic. Day 2 is different beast. Not enough complexity or length to merit a score in the 90's, but it's a silky textured Cotes du Rhone with plush red fruit and a pleasant hit of white pepper spice. Really quite lovely, and at 13.99 it makes a mockery of what California can produce at that price.

October 3, 2018 - One of two sportingly priced Cotes du Rhones that we purchased at a Binnys French wine tasting event. Pretty spot on as to where a Cotes du Rhone should be in my book. Perhaps I preferred the similarly priced Saint Cosme but either would be welcome on my shelf on a regular basis.
