December 15, 2023 - Took to an invited dinner to serve with house meatloaf. Went quite well. Still shows dark fruit, smooth finish, could readily stay in bottle and be further cellared. Nice wine!

September 23, 2023 - A dense, full-bodied Syrah with intense plum fruitiness, white pepper, spice, and a hint of eucalyptus. The style is somewhere between South Australia and Northern Rhone--let's say Western Australia. Very satisfying. In a perfect place right now, with good acidity, fully resolved tannins, and no heat. Great bargain at $14 from Garagiste. Sadly, this is the last of them.

January 21, 2023 - This is a wonderful and compelling example of rich Cali syrah. Just superb and a stupendous QPR as a Garagiste mystery wine at under $20. Silly, actually. A terrific wine that is beautiful on it's own and a great accompaniment to chili, steak, BBQ, or anything else you would drink a rich syrah with. (I drank on its own and with a nice chili).

August 28, 2022 - Still can't believe I paid what I paid from Garigiste for this wine. Drank 5 bottles and all of them were very nice - While clearly a modern interpretation of Syrah, nice complexity and this wine does not show it's age. Drank at a dinner party so no formal notes but 92+/- from memory. Will buy more recent vintages of this wine. Excellent.

May 22, 2022 - Continues to drink very well. Enjoyed on a camping trip so no formal notes. Paired well with sausage medley cooked over the campfire. 92+
