September 6, 2023 - In contrast to the prior bottle, this was in its prime. Fruity, earthy, spices, and overall an excellent Zin that was very food friendly. Basically it's a proper middle-aged Wellington.

February 10, 2023 - This looked slightly bricked on opening, and initially was kind of hot, but after that blew off the wine was in great shape.

October 14, 2022 - This bottle wasn't as good as most any other Wellington bottle I've had. Perhaps it was flawed, but not so much as to be obviously corked or acetic or anything like that. Shrug.

February 27, 2021 - Still a solid bottle despite the drink by date.
Adding 5 years to 2025 and that is likely conservative.

April 1, 2020 - This has certainly evolved since the last bottle. Nice middle aged Zin now. Medium body, nice fruit, lots of earth.

June 1, 2019 - Fresh dark berry, cutting acid to balance and clean the palate. Lasting finish

March 3, 2019 - Bramble and woodsy herbs. A touch on the pruney side, but not overly so. Slight oxidation on day 2.
