September 3, 2018 - This is solid and over achieves for the price. Sweet tobacco and some light oak notes on the nose with a dark plum and Cherries on the palate. This comes off as so Bordeaux i wouldn’t be surprised many would assume it was a Bordeaux in a blind tasting. Lovely medium to full bodied and medium acidity. Long succulent finish. This is good to go so I’m not sure of the need to further age this. My points have been 92-94 in the more than 1 case I’ve bought so I’ll settle for 93 points for my official note.

January 23, 2018 - Medium ruby turning garnet colour. Aromatic and complex Dried berry, mineral, roasted nut, smoky herb, leather and dried orange rind nose. Dry and complex palate; flavourful with good freshness and grip; long and rustic finish with great replays.

April 9, 2017 - Tasted under non optimal conditions hence not a full TN and no rating given. In general it felt like a good 89-90
Dark coloured, rich and ripe with decent helping of oak, chocolate notes, sweet ripe dark fruits. Good round but firm tannins, good acidity and general was very enjoyable. A bit told modern in a way but not in a bad way.

March 1, 2017 - Dark but semi-transparent purple red in color. Bright looking (not dull) .... vibrant.
Nice subtle plums, dark berries, and floral aromas. Earthiness, tobacco, herbs/sage, all wrapped in a nice milk chocolate wrapper.
Full bodied. Changes over time in the glass ... evolves. Again with ripe plums, berries with a dusty creaminess. Almost chewy. Drying dusty tannins still showing a noticeable presence. Good acidity. Not juicy .... drying. Nice sweet baking spices and dried fruits on the mid palate.. There is a few interesting components I can't quite place .... like a bit of bitterness, some form of sweetish red fruit that peaks in and out. It is a strange fruit and I can't place it.
    Good balance.
Overall this is a really nice package. It should continue to age and evolve ..... into what I am not sure. This is a different wine. Superb.

May 15, 2016 - Blend of 60% Mavrodaphne and 40% Mavro Kalavritino. Tasted from decanter. Lovely floral, purple fruit, lavender, dried fruit and sweet spice aromas of great intensity. The palate is full-bodied with nicely integrated tannins and very appealing aroma replays along with sour cherry flavours. Very good acidity and finishing long. Drink now or age 5-8 years.
