February 9, 2024 - Wow! This was huge sweet wine, tiny glass only needed. Huge fig nose, powerful. Hard to drink much of and found this overwhelming with air but easier with less oxygen and was then a nice drink/experience.

August 29, 2021 - Don PX is the best, doesn't pair well with sweet food, it IS the sweet food... The 87 seems as good as previous vintages.

June 27, 2021 - Pours with a thickness like maple syrup, this coats the glass (and palate). Macerated prunes, raisins, cocoa, caramel. A light lift on the palate carries it for miles. Super with soft and chewy ginger molasses cookies or Pain d'Epices.

May 26, 2021 - Interesting wine to taste and it went very well with a rhubarb pie. Very dens and rich. If anything I wasen't so keen on the herbal part of the nose which reminded me of a kind of bitter mountain liqour. Could use a bit more clean fuit to go higher. But the price for this was very modest so its all god.

December 28, 2020 - Liquid raisins and prunes, full-bodied, almost honey-like texture. Much better than cheaper PX.
