July 8, 2022 - (Disgorged in fall of 2012, base year 2008, 10% Pinot Noir and 90% Chardonnay)
Lovely orange colour with a mature nose showing strawberries, minerals and dark chocolate. Nice and smooth on the palate with red berries and a creamy note on the mid before a pleasant and refreshing soft lemon citrus acidity takes over on the lengthy finish. This was very good right now, actually better than last bottle I had four years ago, and really singing in the glass!
(Still showing lots of freshness with 10 years of post-disgorgement cellaring) -

November 17, 2021 - A pleasant wine but nothing exciting. Some light strawberry notes and a clean finish. Kind of biased as this was consumed next to the Ulysse Collin Maillons which is a crazy good wine so not a fair comparison.

June 23, 2019 - A private lunch with family and friends (at home): Très gourmand. Honey and hazelnuts, citrus and candied fruit, flowers and spices, gentle but lively mousse, excellent persistence. Worked wonders with Elizabeth’s cobb salad.

June 1, 2019 - Second bottle from the same half case. Very similar to my previous note, but the cork is a bit more malleable and by consequence the wine is a bit livelier.
