February 7, 2023 - Napa 2023: the quieter version; 2/6/2023-2/11/2023 (Napa/Sonoma California): First dinner wine paired with fried olives, oysters, shrimp cocktail and tuna carpaccio. A nice way to start off the meal. Many levels about the wine that we’d had as our pre-dinner sipper. This has the ‘interesting’ that I like in these champagnes. Where it doesn’t taste quite like you expect it to and you can see the differences in the base wine beneath.

December 3, 2021 - Very much in the ripe style of the domaine. Gives a lot of pleasure straight from the start. I don't think this will evolve much further. probably in its drinking window right now. lovely length.
