February 12, 2023 - Well we had our annual Super Bowl party and I decided to go with Syrah this year. The nose is dark fruit with hints of spice. The palate was dark berries, some dark cherry, tobacco, smoke and dried spices. The finish was moderate to long. Held up well to the chili that I make which is not for weaker souls.

July 27, 2022 - Very, very good. Early window, drinking beautifully. Dark ripe fruit and plenty of oak, in great balance.

June 23, 2022 - Very nice and smooth with concentrated flavors.

May 25, 2022 - Excellent wine… good time to drink… but will also hold for some more years. Very fruity on the nose, red and dark berries, fruitcake on the palate, some licorice, very concentrated, full bodied, still good tannin levels. Glad I have some more.

January 23, 2021 - Deep purple color, some rim variation. A little bit of brightness, almost apple-like on the nose, grapes, red fruits, fresh tobacco on the palate. Medium+ tannins, medium+ acidity. Could definitely have left it in the cellar awhile longer, but it was worth opening.
