July 7, 2020 - Aged riesling bouquet. Lovely balance and marvellous length. Excellent acidity. Riesling through and through. Reminded of a 1937 riesling auslese tasted in the '80's. Probably the nearest you will get of a 19th century
Old Brown Hock. Will last for decades if properly cellared but probably not improve.

October 20, 2019 - I'm not very fond of sweet wines, but Sauternes, Tokaj, PX Sherry, Portos or this nice Riesling from the Antipodes are very special wines...

March 1, 2019 - A farewell to Tooch (Chicago, IL): From half-bottle. It's clearly late harvest riesling from the fruit profile and acidity, but the floral elements on this wine are completely off the charts. This is definitely dessert-level sweetness too, and there's the requisite acidity to balance it out. There's a slightly different flavour profile than I'm used to (mostly it's the florals), but this could probably hold its own against its fair share of Mosel producers.
