October 5, 2021 - A tiny bit of reduction on the nose at first, then rich notes of citrus, marzipan, popcorn, and hazelnut. Good acidity on the palate with velvety mouthfeel and crushed rocks, along with a bit more citrus notes. Long finish. This was very fresh and lovely, fascinating to follow its evolution in the glass!

August 19, 2018 - Onions colored in the glass with a faint whiff of acidity on the nose. An absolute delight with crab and Judd cove oysters this afternoon. The mid palate is smooth with s bit of lemon, just s fine well balanced wine that can still take a few more years in the cellar.

June 15, 2014 - Very fine again. Delicious, very approachable with notes of toast and oak.

April 5, 2014 - Sweet, semi-crisp. Smokey, too oaky for me, burnt finish. Toasty - awesome! Smells like coffee. Similar to 4 but Cali. Oaky, vanilla nose. Strong - oaky.

February 21, 2014 - Exceptionally good, rustic nose with notes of toast, oak and white flower. Very approachable and delicious. Very good.
